I might add that on our dev box it is impossible to install ioncube with IIS7 x64 & FASTCGI. Even with enabling 32 bit apps it still causes FASTCGI to crash.

Come on ! When we buy a product it's to have confort. Many plugins can be installed wihtout this boring works.
If we were programers we would not buy this product ?!

I got the solution : change the .htaccess to


SetEnv IONCUBE 1
SetEnv ZEND_OPTIMIZER 0
SetEnv PHP_VER 5
